Download Sangam

Notifications, calls that ring and your unread count, in an app that updates itself. Same account, same workspace as on the web.

Phone

Version 1.4.4.8. Open the file on your phone and allow installing from your browser when asked. On iPhone, open sangam.gmsoftwarelabs.com in Safari and choose Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Installing on Android

Sangam isn't on the Play Store yet, so Android asks once whether your browser may install apps. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, go back and tap Install. Play Protect may ask you to scan it: tap Scan app or Install anyway.

Mac

Version 1.3.3. Open the file and drag Sangam to Applications.

Mac says "Apple could not verify Sangam"?

That's macOS being careful with apps Apple hasn't checked (notarised) yet. Sangam is made by GM Software Labs and comes straight from Sangam's own server; it isn't notarised by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to allow it once:

  1. Click Done (not Move to Bin).
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down to Security.
  3. Next to "Sangam" was blocked to protect your Mac, click Open Anyway and enter your password.
  4. Open Sangam again and click Open. You won't be asked again, and updates install without this.

Or, in Terminal, after moving Sangam to Applications:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Sangam.app

Windows

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"?

That's SmartScreen being careful with new apps that aren't signed with a paid certificate yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. You'll only see it when installing.

Linux

Opening the AppImage

Make it runnable once: right-click → Properties → Allow executing as a program, or in a terminal:

chmod +x Sangam-linux.AppImage && ./Sangam-linux.AppImage

The tray icon needs AppIndicator support (on GNOME, the AppIndicator extension).
